JUNE 2020 #EMFGRANTSCOVID-19 grant recipients announced. Successful applicants for the Special Funding Round COVID-19 have been announced by the Emergency Medicine Foundation (EMF), with five innovative research projects awarded grants. Emergency clinicians from four Queensland hospitals will have the chance to investigate the effect of COVID-19 on emergency department (ED) presentations, and the ways in which infectious diseases are treated, including the role of technology. EMF ROUND 34 NOW OPENThe EMF Queensland Research Program grants round 34 opened on Monday 15 June 2020. Up to $500,000 will be available for Jumpstart and Leading Edge grants. Interested researchers must submit their application by 5pm on Monday 17 August to be considered for this round. Applicants please note: the submission deadline has been extended due to the EKKA holiday.
